Ceramica Catalano Acquired by Mittel Subsidiary for 100.6 million USD

Italy: Mittel Spa announced that its subsidiary, Italian Bathroom Design Group Srl, has signed a binding preliminary agreement to acquire 100% of Ceramica Catalano Spa for 100.6 million USD. The acquisition is expected to be finalized by September 2024 and will be primarily financed through equity from IBD and Mittel Spa, with a smaller portion coming from bank financing. In 2023, Catalano reported a turnover of 53.14 million USD, an EBITDA of about 14.22 million USD, and a profit just under 9.3 million USD.
