CBRE Partners with Johnson Controls to Expand Energy Efficiency Upgrades Across Key Global Markets
US: CBRE has partnered with Johnson Controls to expand access to energy efficiency upgrades and retrofits in Continental Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the Pacific. The partnership will simplify sustainability efforts for commercial real estate by integrating scoping, development, funding, execution, and performance monitoring into a single program, along with financing for CBRE-led projects. “Reducing carbon emissions across a real estate portfolio is an increasingly complex undertaking. Clients look to CBRE to simplify the challenges so they can reach their sustainability goals faster. This partnership eliminates the need for upfront capital that’s required to optimize building performance and drive cost savings,” said Robert Bernard, CBRE’s chief sustainability officer.
