Carysil to Invest USD 60 Million to Expand Kitchen Solutions Manufacturing in India

India: Carysil, has announced a Rs. 500 crore (USD 60 million) investment to enhance its production capacity for kitchen sinks, faucets, and appliances in India. As part of this expansion, Rs. 100 crore (USD 12 million) will be allocated to doubling its kitchen sink production from 1 million to 2 million units annually. Additionally, Rs. 50 crore (USD 6 million) will be used to increase stainless steel sink output to 250,000 units per year, Rs. 30 crore (USD 3.6 million) to boost kitchen faucet production to 50,000 units annually, and Rs. 20 crore (USD 2.4 million) to expand built-in kitchen appliance manufacturing to 50,000 units per year.
Chairman and Managing Director Chirag Parekh emphasized Carysil’s goal of making Bhavnagar the largest global hub for kitchen sink manufacturing, reinforcing its commitment to the ‘Make in India’ initiative. Over the past five years, the company has invested Rs. 300 crore (USD 36 million) in India and internationally, strengthening production and diversifying its product range. With annual revenue of Rs. 800 crore (USD 96 million), Carysil earns Rs. 150 crore (USD 18 million) from its Indian operations and exports to 58 countries, including the US, UK, and Europe.
