Byggmax Reports Higher Sales and Profit in Second Quarter

Sweden:Â Byggmax reported net sales of SEK 2,263 million (USD 236.0 million; EUR 202.7 million)Â for the second quarter, an increase of 2.9% compared with the same period last year, while like-for-like sales rose by 1.4%. Net sales in the corresponding quarter of 2025 stood at SEK 2,199 million (USD 229.3 million; EUR 197.0 million). Operating profit increased to SEK 267 million (USD 27.9 million; EUR 23.9 million)Â from SEK 223 million (USD 23.3 million; EUR 20.0 million)Â a year earlier, and net profit reached SEK 200 million (USD 20.9 million; EUR 17.9 million). Earnings per share also increased from SEK 2.74 (USD 0.29; EUR 0.25)Â to SEK 3.41 (USD 0.36; EUR 0.31).
The company reported improvements in profitability, with the gross margin rising to 35.1% from 34.2% and the EBITA margin increasing to 12.0% from 10.8% in the corresponding quarter of 2025. Net debt declined by 50% year-on-year to SEK 186 million (USD 19.4 million; EUR 16.7 million), compared with SEK 372 million (USD 38.8 million; EUR 33.3 million)Â in the previous year.
