Burgbad Invests EUR 6 million to Enhance Production and Logistics at Nogent-le-Roi Factory
France: Burgbad, a German bathroom furniture manufacturer, has invested nearly EUR 6 million (USD 6.62 million) in its Nogent-le-Roi factory in France since 2021 to enhance operations. The investments include office expansion, industrial tool renewal, and improvements in logistics. A new 2,200 m² shipping building has been constructed recently, increasing storage and shipping capabilities, while updated production tools boosted output to 500 furniture pieces per day in 2024.
The factory produces the Eqio Smart, Free, and Méo furniture ranges, with the Méo range specifically targeting the construction site market. Additionally, Burgbad manufactures private label furniture, which represents 40% of the subsidiary's turnover, exceeding EUR 30 million (USD 33.08 million) in 2023.
