GERMANY: Bosch Home Comfort Group maintained stable performance in 2025 despite a challenging global HVAC market marked by weaker demand in North America and uncertainty in Europe. Preliminary sales reached around US$5.20 billion (€4.4 billion), broadly in line with the previous year, while nominal growth edged up 0.3%. The company gained notable market share in European heat pumps and air conditioning, as heat pump demand rebounded strongly, particularly in Germany. Bosch invested about US$ 236.2 million (€200 million) across production, electrification and R&D, and now employs roughly 24,000 people worldwide. The integration of the acquired Johnson Controls and Hitachi HVAC businesses was completed in early 2026, delivering initial synergies and expanding Bosch’s global presence. Further strengthening its position, Bosch acquired US Air Conditioning Distributors in the US. Looking ahead, the group expects gradual market recovery from 2026 and aims to outpace market growth.
