bluu unit Enters Ireland Through Acquisition of Tech Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

Germany: Bluu Unit GmbH has expanded its European footprint through the acquisition of Tech Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, an Ireland-based refrigeration and air-conditioning services provider. The transaction strengthens bluu unit’s presence in Ireland, which it identifies as a priority market, and supports its focus on natural refrigerants and data centre solutions. Tech Refrigeration and Air Conditioning is headquartered in Dublin, operates a nationwide service network and employs around 70 people, serving sectors that include food, data centres, retail, hospitality, pharmaceuticals and education. 

The acquisition is intended to support the development of services related to natural refrigerants and to broaden capabilities in energy-intensive applications, including data centres, in line with evolving European regulatory requirements. bluu unit stated that the expanded presence will also allow existing alliance customers in Ireland to receive local installation, service and maintenance support, particularly for refrigeration and air-conditioning systems using natural refrigerants.
