Beijer Ref Finalizes Acquisition of Hungarian HVAC Distributor Cool4U

HUNGARY: Beijer Ref has finalized the acquisition of Cool4U, a Hungarian HVAC distributor. In June 2024, Beijer Ref entered into a binding agreement to acquire 80% of Cool4U's shares, with an option to purchase the remaining stake. The Hungarian Competition Authority has now granted unconditional approval, enabling the transaction to be completed.

Cool4U, headquartered in Szarvas, Hungary, will retain its branding and continue operating under its own name. The business will be consolidated into the Beijer Ref Group's accounts starting January 3, 2025.
