UK: Chancellor Rachel Reeves, in her first budget, has announced a commitment to an initial GBP 3.4 billion towards heat decarbonisation and household energy efficiency over the next three years. This funding, part of the Warm Homes Plan, will provide over GBP 1 billion next year, with the aim to provide supply chain certainty now. GBP 1.8 billion of this funding will also go toward supporting fuel poverty schemes, helping over 225,000 households reduce their energy bills by over GBP 200, according to the government. The Public Sector Decarbonization Scheme will also receive GBP 1 billion of funding over three years, according to the government's plans.
