Aira secures funds from BNP Paribas to Finance Heat Pump Installations in Germany
Updated: Jun 7
SWEDEN: Aira, a Swedish direct-to-consumer heat pump company, has signed a US$218 million warehouse financing agreement with BNP Paribas to help fund heat pump installations in Germany. The company understands that altering household heating will necessitate significant financial investments, not only to develop and install the technology, but also to make it accessible and affordable to all. There is a demand for low-cost residential energy solutions, but obstacles such as low petrol prices, stringent regulations, and hefty upfront expenditures remain. The US$218 million credit issued by BNP Paribas represents the start of Aira's intention to overcome this financial divide by expanding its zero-downpayment consumer financing approach.
