AI Boom Drives Rising Demand for HVAC, Robotics, and Automation Professionals

INDIA: The continued expansion of artificial intelligence is driving strong demand for professionals specializing in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, robotics engineering, and industrial automation, according to executives at recruitment and executive search firms speaking to ET. This includes experts involved in the design, development, programming, and maintenance of robotic systems.
An analysis conducted by recruitment firm Randstad for ET revealed a significant rise in demand over the past three years, with requirements for robotics technicians increasing by 178%, HVAC engineers by 90%, and industrial automation technicians by 45%. Additionally, the rapid adoption of AI technologies has generated substantial demand for trainers to upskill employees and build workforce capabilities on AI platforms.
