Abu Dhabi Launches $953M Residential Project for UAE Citizens
Saudi Arabia: A Dh3.5 billion ($953 million) initiative to provide 1,146 villas for UAE citizens has been unveiled in Abu Dhabi. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has approved the Yas Canal project for Al Raha Beach. It is expected to be finished in the fourth quarter of 2027. The project will be managed by the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Centre for Projects and Infrastructure and the ICT Real Estate Development Company. Sheikh Khaled said the residential project represented Abu Dhabi's commitment to providing high-quality homes to Emirati families, according to the Abu Dhabi Media Office. He stated that it would ensure their well-being and promote social stability to boost the emirate's development. The 1.8-square-kilometer project will comprise villas, three mosques, a school, and a gym, as well as facilities and shops distributed throughout a one-hectare area.
