USA: A. O. Smith Corporation reported sales of US$940.5 million in Q3 2026, remaining largely unchanged year-on-year, while net earnings declined to US$126.3 million from US$132 million. North American sales increased by 3%, supported by boiler demand, pricing adjustments and the Leonard Valve acquisition, although lower residential water heater volumes weighed on performance. Sales in the Rest of World segment declined by 7%, reflecting continued weakness in China's consumer appliance market. The company also announced an agreement to sell an 81% stake in its China business to CPE, retaining the remaining 19% and long-term brand licensing rights.
