Xiaomi Reports Record Growth in Smart Appliances, AC Shipments Lead Surge in 2025

CHINA: In 2025, Xiaomi marked a major achievement by recording its highest-ever revenue in the smart large home appliances segment, registering a 23.1% year-on-year increase. This growth was fueled by strong demand across air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines. Air conditioner shipments surpassed 8.5 million units, reflecting a 24% annual rise, while refrigerator shipments exceeded 2.8 million units (up 4%) and washing machine shipments crossed 2.3 million units (up 18%). All three categories reached record levels, with air conditioners emerging as the leading growth driver. Xiaomi expanded its portfolio from entry-level wall-mounted units to advanced multi-split central systems, strengthening its position through competitive pricing, enhanced smart capabilities, and improved service offerings. A key differentiator lies in its integration with HyperOS Connect and the Mijia ecosystem, allowing users to control devices via smartphones or XiaoAI voice assistants, while enabling automation based on temperature and humidity conditions. Premium models also feature millimeter-wave radar technology to detect human presence and automatically optimize airflow for improved comfort.
