USA: Watts Water Technologies Inc. has completed its acquisition of Superior Boiler, a company that designs and manufactures steam and hot water boilers and related equipment for commercial, institutional and industrial use. Superior’s product range includes firetube, watertube and condensing boilers, and the company reports annualised sales of about USD 60 million. The transaction was funded using available cash.
With this acquisition, Watts aims to expand its portfolio in the heating and hot water segment through the addition of Superior’s boiler technologies. The company stated that the purchase was completed through its subsidiaries and aligns with its broader focus on plumbing, heating and water quality solutions.
