Voltas Reports Lower Q3 and Nine-Month Profits, Maintains AC Market Share

India: Voltas Limited reported a decline in profitability for the third quarter ended December 2025, while maintaining its position in the room air conditioner segment. The company recorded total income of INR 3,120 crore (USD 375 million, EUR 345 million) for the quarter, compared with INR 3,164 crore in the same period last year. Profit before tax declined to INR 116 crore (USD 14 million, EUR 13 million), and net profit stood at INR 84 crore (USD 10 million, EUR 9 million), reflecting pressure from input costs, currency movements, and global supply chain factors.

Despite the softer quarterly performance, Voltas retained a year-to-date market share of 17.9 percent in room air conditioners. The company reported improved channel activity following the GST rate cut and continued progress in expanding its manufacturing footprint, including a new facility in Chennai. Voltas reported a consolidated order book of approximately INR 6,100 crore (USD 735 million, EUR 675 million), supporting visibility for its projects business. Management indicated that pricing decisions will continue to be reviewed in line with raw material trends, currency movements, and upcoming energy efficiency norm changes.
