Veteran Finance Expert to Succeed Andre Wedemeyer, Ensuring Continuity and Fresh Momentum for GC GROUP

GERMANY: Cordes & Graefe KG, the holding company of GC GROUP, is preparing for a major leadership transition: effective January 1, 2026, Dr. Ulrich Hüllmann will assume the role of CFO and general partner, succeeding Andre Wedemeyer. After more than 20 years on the Executive Board, Wedemeyer is retiring from operational duties at the age of 60, as planned.
Dr. Hüllmann brings a distinguished track record as a CFO and board member of international industrial companies. Most recently, he oversaw finance, IT, legal, tax, accounting, M&A, and internal auditing at the Viessmann Group for over nine years. Prior to that, he held multiple CEO and CFO positions with global responsibilities at the GEA Group.
An internationally seasoned finance executive, Dr. Hüllmann has played a key role in numerous major acquisitions, transformation and digitalization initiatives, as well as strategic divestments, including the sale of Viessmann Climate Solutions to Carrier Global. His expertise centers on sustainable value creation and the continued advancement of modern organizational structures, bringing both continuity and new impetus to GC GROUP’s management team.
