UP RERA Clears 21 Real Estate Projects Worth US$792.3 Million Across Key Cities

INDIA: The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) has approved 21 new projects valued at US$792.3 million, paving the way for 10,866 housing and commercial units across the state. The clearances were granted during the 184th meeting of the Authority chaired by Sanjay Bhoosreddy. “The approval of 21 projects, adding nearly 11,000 new units, highlights the momentum of real estate growth in Uttar Pradesh. With investments of about US$792.3 million, these developments will meet housing needs across diverse income groups and also create significant economic opportunities for the state,” Bhoosreddy said.
According to UP RERA, the projects span multiple cities including Gautam Buddh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Mathura, Agra, Bareilly, Varanasi, and Barabanki, comprising residential apartments, villas, plots, and commercial spaces. The developments are expected to boost employment in construction and allied sectors while expanding affordable housing, with allocations for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS). Of the total, eight projects are located in Noida and Greater Noida, three in Ghaziabad, two each in Lucknow and Varanasi, and one each in Mathura, Rampur, Agra, Bareilly, Barabanki, and Gorakhpur.
