Univastu India Ltd's Joint Venture Secures "Net Zero Project" Contract from Varanasi Development Authority

India: Univastu India Ltd's joint venture, Univastu Bootes Infra LLP—where the company holds a 51 per cent stake—has secured a major "Net Zero Project" contract from the Varanasi Development Authority. The domestic order is for the design and construction of the Varanasi Community Center at the Lalpur residential scheme, phase 1. The scope of work includes master planning, civil structure, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing), networking, interior design, net zero solutions, finishing, sustainable building elements, lighting, landscaping, and road network works, emphasizing a holistic and sustainable infrastructure approach.
The total contract value stands at Rs 28,08,40,000 (25.0 million USD), including 18 per cent GST amounting to Rs 4,28,40,000 (3.8 million USD). The core contract value before GST is Rs 23,80,00,000 (21.2 million USD). The project is scheduled to be completed within 12 calendar months from the issuance of the work order on July 19, 2025, with an expected execution date of July 18, 2026. This significant order reinforces Univastu India Ltd's active role in advancing sustainable infrastructure development in India.
