United Building Solutions Expands Southern Presence with DFW Mechanical Acquisition

USA: United Building Solutions has acquired DFW Mechanical Group, a commercial and industrial mechanical contractor operating across Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia and Florida. The transaction adds DFW Mechanical to United Building Solutions’ national HVAC and mechanical services platform and extends its operations further into the southern United States. DFW Mechanical, headquartered in Wylie, Texas, provides commercial HVAC, plumbing, heating and piping services and will continue to operate under its existing management, with President Brett Thomas remaining in his role.
The acquisition represents the second add-on transaction by United Building Solutions since investment by AE Industrial Partners in February 2025, following the earlier addition of Total Comfort Solutions in North Florida. With the inclusion of DFW Mechanical, United Building Solutions now operates across the Southeast, South-Central and Northeast regions of the United States. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
