Türkiye: Türkiye’s Ministry of Trade has announced the continuation of anti-dumping duties on water heater imports from China, Italy, and Serbia, following a final review investigation. The decision, published in the Official Gazette, makes the measures effective immediately. The investigation covered thermosiphon-electric storage water heaters from all three countries and gas-powered instantaneous water heaters from China. Authorities concluded that removing the existing measures would likely cause renewed harm to domestic producers, leading to the extension of the duties.
Under the decision, thermosiphon-electric storage water heaters will continue to face anti-dumping duties ranging between 12% and 49% of the CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) value, depending on the exporting company and country of origin. For Chinese gas-powered instantaneous water heaters, duties will remain in place at rates between 20.12% and 53.41% of the CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) value, based on the manufacturer.
