Trane Technologies Completes Acquisition of LiquidStack

Ireland/USA: Trane Technologies announced that it has completed the acquisition of LiquidStack, a company specialising in liquid cooling technology for data centres. The transaction, previously announced on 10 February 2026, brings LiquidStack into Trane Technologies’ operations. LiquidStack is headquartered in Carrollton, Texas, United States. The acquisition forms part of Trane Technologies’ strategy to expand its portfolio of thermal management solutions for data centre applications.
Following the acquisition, the combined operations will focus on offering data centre cooling systems that include liquid cooling, direct-to-chip cooling and immersion cooling technologies. The integration is expected to support solutions designed to manage rising computing power requirements linked to artificial intelligence and high-density workloads. The expanded portfolio will cover cooling systems ranging from central plant infrastructure to chip-level thermal management.
