Japan: TOTO will fully resume accepting new orders for prefabricated and modular bathrooms from Tuesday, ending restrictions that were introduced earlier this year after the Iran war disrupted supplies of naphtha-derived material. The company stated that it is returning to normal delivery schedules as the outlook for raw material supplies has improved and upgrades to its ordering system have been completed. TOTO had suspended new orders for prefabricated and modular bathrooms in mid-April due to shortages of organic solvents used in wall and ceiling coatings and partially resumed orders approximately one week later. The resumption follows government assurances that sufficient naphtha supplies have been secured through increased imports despite ongoing Middle East-related disruptions.
