Tomoji Miki to Lead Daikin UK as New Managing Director
Tomoji Miki joins Daikin

UK: Daikin UK has announced the appointment of Tomoji Miki as its new Managing Director, starting 1 January 2025. He succeeds Hiroyasu Ishikawa, who will assume the role of Managing Director of Daikin Central Europe. Mark Dyer will continue as deputy managing director to ensure a seamless leadership transition.


With over 30 years at Daikin, Miki brings a wealth of international experience, having spent 13 years in China, 7.5 years in Brazil, and 3 years in Malaysia. His leadership journey includes key roles such as Director of Daikin Malaysia and Daikin Brazil, where he drove significant growth by balancing local business practices with Daikin’s global strategic vision. He also served as Co-Department Manager of Daikin Europe’s Commercial DX SBU, further showcasing his global expertise.


Daikin UK expressed its gratitude to Hiroyasu Ishikawa for his impactful leadership since 2022, during which the company achieved major milestones. Miki’s appointment signals a new chapter of growth for Daikin UK, with his tailored leadership style and commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction positioning the company for continued success.
