Thailand: Thailand recorded 26.89 million foreign tourist arrivals between 1 January and 2 November, marking a 7.22% decrease compared to the same period last year, according to data released by the Tourism Ministry. Malaysia remained the top source of visitors with 3.88 million arrivals, followed by China with 3.8 million.
The Finance Ministry recently revised its forecast for total foreign tourist arrivals in 2025 to 33.5 million, down from the earlier estimate of 34.5 million. Before the pandemic in 2019, Thailand had achieved a record of nearly 40 million foreign visitors, highlighting the ongoing recovery challenges in the tourism sector.
