Germany: Tece GmbH changes legal structure to a European Company (Societas Europaea) and will now operate under the name Tece SE. The shift reflects the company’s increasing focus on international markets, with over half of its sales now generated outside Europe. The change is also intended to reinforce its alignment with the European Economic Area and its continued presence in Germany. Despite the new structure, Tece will remain an independent family-owned business, with the Fehling siblings retaining full ownership. The existing management team, led by Peter Fehlings, along with André Welle and Dr Michael Freitag, will continue to lead the company. The previous Advisory Board will take on the role of the Supervisory Board.
Tece’s headquarters will remain in Emsdetten, Germany, where its corporate offices, research, development, and parts of its production are based. The new SE structure is aimed at supporting a more international management framework while maintaining continuity for employees, customers, and partners. The company stated that this legal form offers long-term planning stability and aligns with its commitment to both regional roots and global operations.
