Stiebel Eltron Targets 15% Growth in 2025 for Water Heater Sales in Thailand

THAILAND: Stiebel Eltron expects its water heater business to post solid growth this year, in line with broader market trends driven by urbanisation and rising demand for energy-efficient appliances. The company forecasts a 15% growth in water heater sales, with the Thai water heater market valued at around US$96.4 million (approx. 3 billion baht) and continuing to expand steadily.

To capitalise on year-end demand, the company is targeting modern homeowners who increasingly view bathrooms as both functional and relaxation spaces, alongside growing interest in compact and smart appliances. Mr Hoehn noted that safety, reliability, environmental impact, and sustainability are key purchase drivers for consumers and property developers in 2025. Reflecting this strategy, the company has launched its Titanium Series, including the WS Titanium shower heater and the DDP 6 Titanium multipoint heater. The new range highlights fast heating, enhanced safety features, and improved energy efficiency. Stiebel Eltron is also expanding its online sales presence beyond Bangkok and plans to open a new heat pump factory at the Hi-Tech Industrial Estate in Ayutthaya in 2026, marking its third manufacturing facility in Thailand.
