STIEBEL ELTRON Launches Advanced Heat Pump Training for Installers

UK: STIEBEL ELTRON UK, a leading heat pump manufacturer, has launched Heat Pump Pass 2, an advanced online training module to equip installers with the skills and technical expertise required to adopt renewable heating technologies. This module builds on the success of Heat Pump Pass 1 and targets heating engineers transitioning from boiler installations to heat pumps, trainee engineers, and experienced heat pump professionals seeking to expand their expertise. 

The new module offers two hours of on-demand training in 11 segments, focusing on critical topics such as heat loss calculations, product selection, and system sizing using STIEBEL ELTRON’s advanced tools and calculators. The initial Heat Pump Pass 1 course provides five hours of training in 26 segments, covering foundational technical concepts and installation considerations. 

In addition to online courses, STIEBEL ELTRON launched an in-person training program earlier this year at its Wirral headquarters, offering hands-on experience with various heat pump systems for different settings. The training centre, accommodating up to 16 participants, has successfully trained 10 installers since August, with more scheduled to attend.
