Stefan Schmied named Grohe Region Director for IMEA

Grohe, a subsidiary of Lixil, one of the world's leading manufacturers of complete bathroom and kitchen fittings, has appointed Stefan Schmied as the new CEO of Lixil's IMEA region.

This important appointment for the IMEA region (India and the Subcontinent, the Middle East, including Turkey, and Africa) demonstrates Grohe's commitment to global expansion and innovation. Stefan adds more than 20 years of industry expertise to his position.

He has led significant strategic initiatives, extended channels, built brands, and managed sales operations in worldwide retail, wholesale, and project businesses. Stefan formerly oversaw Grohe's project business channel, converting it into an autonomous Business Unit that served as a key growth driver for Lixil EMENA.

Stefan's new responsibilities will include increasing growth and improving long-term sales performance for the Grohe brand through cross-regional collaboration and strategic innovation.
