SONAS Bathrooms Opens Major Distribution Centre in Redditch to Serve UK Retailers
IRELAND: Irish bathroom products supplier SONAS Bathrooms has commenced operations at a new 60,801 sq ft distribution centre in Redditch, UK, to strengthen its distribution network and serve more than 500 retail partners nationwide. Known as Alto 60, the warehouse can accommodate 8,300 pallets and will stock a wide range of bathroom products, including showers, baths, furniture, taps, and sanitaryware.
The new facility is expected to significantly reduce delivery times for UK customers, with next-day delivery available to more than 90% of the country for orders placed before 1 p.m. Previously, deliveries from the company's Irish distribution facilities typically took two to three days to reach British customers. The Redditch centre will support the distribution of more than 2,000 products across SONAS Bathrooms' main range and its SONAS SELECT collection for trade customers.
