Shurooq Announces Sharjah Sustainable City II Development in UAE

UAE: Sharjah Investment and Development Authority, in collaboration with SEE Holding, has announced the launch of Sharjah Sustainable City II, a new integrated residential community in the Al Rahmaniya area of Sharjah. The development follows the earlier Sharjah Sustainable City project and will cover 7.8 million square feet, featuring 1,032 residential units including 944 three and four bedroom townhouses and 88 five bedroom villas. The project is designed around clean energy use, local food production, integrated waste management systems, and green mobility, with all homes equipped with solar panels and smart home features.

Sharjah Sustainable City II will be presented publicly for the first time at the Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition ACRES, scheduled to be held in January 2026. The master plan includes a 2 km green spine, biodiverse landscaping, EV charging infrastructure, and a walkable layout supported by community amenities such as sports facilities, health clinics, retail outlets, and food and beverage spaces.
