PERU: Samsung Electronics is strengthening its presence in the Latin American HVAC market by expanding beyond product sales into installation and aftersales capabilities. The company has opened a new Samsung HVAC Professional Training Center in Chiclayo, Peru, aimed at training engineers and installers in advanced installation and maintenance. The initiative is part of a broader B2B strategy to improve service quality and competitiveness in a region where diverse climates and building conditions raise technical complexity. Samsung now operates 21 HVAC training centers across Latin America, training around 30,000 professionals annually.
The Peruvian center showcases Samsung’s latest HVAC solutions, including AI-enabled DVM S2 systems, WindFree technology, and R32-based commercial products. The move coincides with rising regional demand for advanced cooling, driven in part by planned AI data centers from global technology firms such as Google and Amazon Web Services. Samsung plans to further expand its training infrastructure into Southeast Asia and Europe in 2025 and will present new AI-driven HVAC models at CES 2026, underlining its global ambitions in the commercial HVAC segment.
