Samsung and LG Strengthen Electric HVAC and B2B Smart Home Presence

South Korea/Saudi Arabia: Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics are expanding their presence in electric HVAC and smart home markets, with Samsung showcasing its EHS All-in-One and EHS Heat Pump Boiler in South Korea and LG opening its first B2B-dedicated AI Home experience space in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Samsung’s EHS Heat Pump Boiler achieves a SCOP of 4.9, provides heating at temperatures as low as -25°C and is supported by a new production line at its Gwangju plant, while the EHS All-in-One uses R32 refrigerant with approximately 68% lower GWP than R410A. LG’s Riyadh hub features ThinQ ON and turnkey building management solutions developed with Schneider Electric and Assa Abloy, targeting real estate and hospitality demand. Saudi Arabia’s smart home market is projected to grow from approximately USD 2 billion in 2024 to USD 8.7 billion by 2030, at a CAGR of over 27%.
