ITALY: Following its acquisition by Nobili Rubinetterie in 2009, Rubinetterie Stella, a historic company based in Piedmont known for producing Italian bathroom fixtures, has initiated a new phase of growth focused on bringing all production in-house through structural investments and enhanced commercial development.
According to Pambianco Design, Federica Nobili, recently appointed CEO after previously leading the company’s commercial operations, explained that production was being centralized in Dormelletto (Novara province), while maintaining the distinct identities of the Nobili and Stella brands. This strategic shift is being supported by a new warehouse adjacent to the main headquarters, intended to accommodate new machinery aimed at expanding and upgrading the production line. The investment, shared between machinery and infrastructure, totals around 4 million euros, with production capacity already nearing 100,000 units in 2024 and expected to increase further between 2025 and 2026.
Federica also indicated that the commercial relaunch of Rubinetterie Stella began in Italy and France, markets where the brand is already well-established. Beyond Europe, the company has commercial partners in regions such as Iran, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Russia. Distribution agreements are reportedly being finalized in the United States with Waterworks Operating, a global leader in high-end bathroom and kitchen products, which holds a 25% stake in Rubinetterie Stella. Plans are also underway to open the first direct showroom in Paris, with a current presence at Materia 2.0 in Milan.
