UK: Roper Rhodes has relocated to a new 235,000 sq ft distribution centre as part of its ongoing expansion, following 15 years of consecutive sales growth and rising demand for its products. The company stated that it has outgrown its previous Portbury facility, which it first moved into in 2016. The new hub offers storage for 44,000 pallets and includes pick faces for 12,000 SKUs, aimed at improving operational capacity and supporting future product range development.
In addition to stock handling and fulfilment functions, the site will accommodate expanded showroom areas, upgraded customer conference facilities and a purpose-built photographic studio. The company noted that the move is intended to strengthen operations as it continues to develop its portfolio.
