India: Roca Group has opened the Roca Delhi Gallery, marking the group’s first design-led gallery in India and adding the country to its international network of cultural spaces. The new gallery brings together Roca and LAUFEN under one roof, presenting curated bathroom environments focused on contemporary living, technology and design. Designed by architecture studio Ultraconfidentiel, the space combines a neutral architectural framework with locally produced handcrafted tiles, linking international design concepts with Indian craft traditions. One level of the building is dedicated to LAUFEN, offering a distinct spatial setting that complements the main gallery.
Roca Group has operated in India since two thousand six through a joint venture with Parryware, becoming its sole owner in two thousand eleven, and now runs multiple manufacturing facilities and a nationwide distribution network from its headquarters in Chennai. The Delhi gallery is intended to function not only as a product showcase but also as a venue for professional exchange, hosting exhibitions and discussions related to architecture and design. As the group’s first gallery in India and the eighth worldwide, the opening reflects its continued engagement with the Indian market and its inclusion within a broader global platform for design and innovation.
