Roca Group Acquires Italian Faucet Manufacturer Idral

Italy: Roca Group, a global leader in bathroom product design, production, and marketing, has acquired Idral, a manufacturer specializing in self-closing faucets and taps for public and semi-public spaces. This acquisition bolsters Roca's faucets division and strengthens its position in the market for communal bathrooms, including schools, hospitals, and the hospitality sector.

Idral, the leading supplier of public bathroom taps in Italy, has over 50 years of experience and offers a wide range of products, including electronic, self-closing, and pedal taps. Located in Gargallo, Novara, Italy, Idral reported a turnover of EUR 10.3 million (USD 11.12 million) in 2023 and is part of the Cusio Valsesia cluster, which contributes 20% of Italy's national production of taps and fittings. The company is also known for smart faucet solutions, such as self-closing thermostatic cartridges and sensor taps. For Roca Group, this acquisition is strategic, complementing its existing product portfolio and offering significant growth potential in Europe.
