RMIL Launches Country’s First Eco-Friendly Passivation-Polished Stainless Steel Kitchen Sink

Bangladesh: RMIL a subsidiary of RFL Group, on February 7 introduced the country’s first eco-friendly passivation-polished stainless steel kitchen sink at the RFL head office in Badda, unveiled by Managing Director RN Paul. Manufactured using advanced molds, DDQ-grade stainless steel sheets and multi-stage deep drawing technology, the sink eliminates heat-based annealing, reducing energy consumption and gas usage while ensuring rust resistance, hygiene and long-term safety with food-grade stainless steel. The sinks will be available in four sizes, with the double-bowl priced at approximately $36 and single-bowl variants ranging from about $15 to $25. They will be distributed nationwide through authorised dealers and online via Othoba.com, with senior executives including Sanjoy Bishwash, Sheikh Rashed Mahmud, HM Fazlul Haque and Farzana Mowrin present at the launch.
