UK: Rinnai has announced the creation of a new division, Rinnai Applied, which will focus on the design, supply and servicing of larger heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) and hot water systems for commercial and industrial premises. Applied Products, also referred to as Applied Solutions, provide tailored systems designed to meet complex HVAC requirements and integrate with building designs, with an emphasis on energy efficiency and sustainability. According to market research, the global HVAC sector is currently valued at around USD 280 (EUR 257.6 billion) billion and is expected to grow to USD 390 billion (EUR 358.8 billion) by 2030, with Applied Products projected to expand at nearly 7 per cent in the coming years.
The industry is experiencing increased demand for energy-efficient solutions as governments worldwide promote low-carbon technologies, including refrigerants with lower global warming potential. Rinnai stated that the HVAC market is shifting towards centralised systems and alternative energy sources such as electricity, hydrogen, synthetic fuels, LNG and BioLPG, alongside renewable options like solar thermal and heat pumps. The company said the new division will provide design, site evaluation, life cycle cost assessments and technical data to support customers in adapting to these changes.
