Plumbing and Heating Q3 Sales Reflect Ongoing Market Challenges

UK: Figures from the Plumbing and Heating Merchants Index (PHMI) for the third quarter of 2024 show that the industry is stabilising, although there is no indication of considerable expansion in the near term. Total value sales in Q3 2024 were +0.2%, practically unchanged from the same quarter previous year. Volume sales increased by 5.3%, but prices fell by -4.9%. Total value sales in Q3 2024 were +4.0% higher than the previous three months (April to June 2024). Volume sales climbed by 3.2%, while prices rose by 0.8%.
