PATRIZIA and COSIMO Launch Berlin Residential Development Programme

Germany: PATRIZIA has launched a residential development programme in Berlin through a joint venture with developer COSIMO Investment Group. The initiative targets a total development volume of up to EUR 500 million (USD 545 million) and includes plans to develop around 2,000 residential units in the coming years. Up to EUR 200 million (USD 218 million) of equity will be deployed through PATRIZIA’s Living investment strategy as part of the programme.
The projects will be assessed and implemented individually under the partnership, with COSIMO responsible for securing development rights and managing construction, while PATRIZIA will oversee investment strategy, financing and asset management. The programme forms part of PATRIZIA’s European residential investment platform, which currently manages EUR 17.5 billion (USD 19.1 billion) in living assets. The initiative comes amid limited housing supply in Berlin, where building permits and completions remain low while rental demand continues.
