Panasonic Introduces Air to Water Heat Pump System for Residential Use

Australia: Panasonic has launched an Air to Water Heat Pump system designed for both new construction and retrofit applications, offering a compact alternative to traditional gas or oil boilers. The system operates without an indoor unit, relying solely on hydraulic piping, which simplifies installation. It is compatible with underfloor heating, radiators, and fan coil units. The unit provides year-round heating, cooling, and domestic hot water, and is equipped with remote access functionality through the Panasonic Smart Cloud app, allowing users to monitor energy consumption and manage operating costs.

The system is available in multiple models, including the J Series (9kW and 16kW) for compact installations and the T-CAP series (12kW and 16kW), which is designed to maintain heating capacity in colder conditions, down to -20°C. It uses R32 refrigerant to transfer heat from outdoor air to water through a sealed system, delivering a consistent output water temperature of 60°C, even in low outdoor temperatures. Its all-in-one outdoor design eliminates the need for a separate indoor hydrokit, reducing indoor space requirements, while a built-in magnet filter helps sustain performance by removing metal dust particles.
