Japan: Panasonic Corporation's Cold Chain Solutions Company has entered into an agreement with Cooling Solutions S.L. to acquire all shares of its Polish subsidiary, Area Cooling Solutions Sp. z.o.o. This strategic acquisition aims to strengthen Panasonic's condensing unit business in Europe and support its global expansion efforts. The deal aligns with environmental regulations like the Kigali Amendment and the EU's F-Gas Regulation, which mandate a shift to low global warming potential refrigerants. Area Cooling's expertise in inverter-controlled and CO2 condensing units complements Panasonic's technology, promising synergies and enhanced local manufacturing capabilities in Europe.
