Pakistan, Uzbekistan to Jointly Manufacture Solar Water Heaters

Pakistan and Uzbekistan: Pakistan and Uzbekistan are considering joint manufacturing of solar water heaters to promote affordable energy solutions and expand industrial cooperation. During his visit to Pharma Park and Techno Park in Tashkent, SAPM on Industries and Production, Haroon Akhtar Khan, praised Uzbekistan’s modern appliance production and highlighted collaboration on solar water heaters, gas, and electricity meters. He also stressed streamlining licensing for Pakistan’s pharmaceutical sector in Uzbekistan to enhance exports and global alignment. Khan noted such cooperation could elevate bilateral ties. Meanwhile, the 22nd Session of the Pakistan-Iran Joint Economic Commission, held in Tehran on September 15-16, 2025, emphasized expanding trade, energy, agriculture, health, education, and cultural exchanges, concluding with signed protocols from both governments.
