Oventrop Group and HögforsGST Form Strategic Partnership in Heating Networks

Germany: The Oventrop Group has entered into a strategic partnership with Finnish company HögforsGST in the heating networks sector. As part of the agreement, HögforsGST has acquired 100% of Oventrop Energy & Network, a former Oventrop subsidiary based in Haiger, Germany. In return, the Oventrop Group has taken a shareholder stake in HögforsGST. The brand name Oventrop Energy & Network will remain in place to support access to Central European markets.

The collaboration is expected to strengthen both companies by combining HögforsGST’s focus in the Nordics with Oventrop Energy & Network’s presence in Germany and neighboring countries. “Both companies expect the strategic partnership to generate synergies and joint international growth in the district heating network segment,” said Michael Scheller, CCO of Oventrop Group. Oventrop will also supply components to HögforsGST and contribute to product development, while the partnership aims to advance future heating network solutions across Europe.
