Non oil activities accounted for about 72.1% of total GDP, reflecting continued progress in economic diversification. The services sector remained the largest contributor, accounting for nearly 47.8% of GDP, supported by growth in financial services, transport, telecommunications and tourism related activities.
The industrial sector grew by 2.4% to US$22.1 billion, driven by manufacturing and increased output of refined petroleum products, while agriculture and fisheries recorded strong growth of 10.2%.
