Octopus Energy and LG Electronics Collaborate to Integrate Kraken Software with Appliances Across Europe

UK: Octopus Energy has announced a new partnership with LG Electronics aimed at helping households reduce energy bills, lower fossil fuel consumption, and support the growth of flexible grid markets across Europe.

Under the agreement, LG’s heat pumps and air conditioners will be integrated with Octopus’ Kraken energy management platform, allowing users to automatically operate devices when electricity is cheapest and most environmentally friendly.

The initiative will initially roll out in the UK and Germany, with plans to expand to additional European markets. Over time, the partnership will extend Kraken integration to a wider range of LG appliances, further enhancing energy efficiency and smart-home capabilities.
