Nirupam Sahay Appointed CEO of Hindware
INDIA: Hindware, a leading building products company, has appointed Nirupam Sahay as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). With over 30 years of experience spanning sales, marketing, innovation, operations, and general management, Sahay will oversee the company’s Sanitary ware, Faucets, Tiles, Kitchen Appliances, and Home Appliances divisions. Since 2017, he has also been a member of the Board of Advisors at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Complex Choices (IASCC).
Previously, Sahay served as President of Lighting Solutions at Dixon Technologies India for nearly two years and concurrently held the role of Managing Director (MD) at Rexxam Dixon Electronics from June 2022 to February 2024. Earlier, he was Executive Director and CEO of Lighting and Consumer Durables at Surya Roshni.
Sahay’s extensive career also includes over nine years at Philips Lighting, where he was Senior Vice President and Global Business Leader for Consumer Lamps. A graduate of The Wharton School’s Advanced Management Program (AMP), he has also held leadership roles such as Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at GE Capital and Marketing Manager at Asian Paints, where he served for more than nine years.
