Global: NIBE reported continued underlying organic growth in the second quarter of 2026, marking the sixth consecutive quarter of growth compared with the corresponding period of the previous year. Operating profit and operating margin also improved for the sixth consecutive quarter. The company told US tariffs had been partly offset in two of its three business areas, while NIBE Stoves was more affected. It also reported that cautious consumer spending on capital goods and homes remained a factor, although it observed some improvement in consumer behaviour and continued demand for heating solutions replacing oil and gas.
NIBE attributed the earnings development to organic sales growth, its product portfolio, international presence, cost control and productivity improvements. The company said the traditional seasonal pattern had returned, with performance improving sequentially through the year, and expects the second half of 2026 to be stronger than the first. It also reported that its investment programme and product development initiatives had been completed, while production facilities had been prepared for higher demand without major additional investment requirements.
