New York's $93M Affordable Housing for Seniors Completed
USA: Construction of Garden Towers Apartments, a $93 million affordable housing project for older residents in the Bronx, New York, has been completed. This project is part of New York's 25 billion USD Housing Plan to build or preserve 100,000 affordable homes statewide. Developed by Foxy Management, HANAC, and JLD Advisory, the project features 150 units for residents aged 62 and over, with 45 reserved for formerly homeless residents who will receive on-site social services. The project includes amenities such as tenant parking, indoor bicycle storage, laundry facilities, a computer room, multipurpose spaces, and eco-friendly features like a rooftop solar array.
